Truma Aventa roof-mounted air-conditioning systems are among the most popular air-conditioning systems among motorhome and van enthusiasts. After all, they provide a perfect temperature inside the vehicle at all times and, since their launch, have proven to be flexible, economical and efficient in everyday operation. Now the second generation of Aventa models has arrived - cool masterpieces in every sense of the word, available from specialist dealers from spring 2025.

What is new in the Aventa 2nd generation product range at a glance

The new roof-mounted air conditioners ensure a pleasant temperature inside the vehicle and are particularly quiet in operation. An outstanding feature is the low overall weight of the systems, which has been achieved by installing state-of-the-art technology. As a result, it has been possible to reduce the weight by up to 18 per cent compared to the previous model. In addition, the continuously variable compressor provides exceptional cooling power and, in combination with the new night mode, ensures quiet nights. The air distributors, which are designed for easy operation, also serve as a design element of the vehicle.

Cooling power

Outstanding cooling power: available in power levels 1700 W (Aventa compact 2nd generation), 2200 W (Aventa compact plus 2nd generation) and 2500 W (Aventa comfort 2nd generation), they can both cool and heat thanks to an integrated heat pump.

Weight

Extraordinarily low weight: the systems weigh 23.2/24.2/28.7 kilograms, including the optional internal air distributor. Compared to the previous generation, which was already the lightest system of its kind, the weight has been reduced by up to 5 kg. Despite the substantial weight reduction, the effectiveness of the cooling performance has remained unchanged.

Technology

Innovative technology: thanks to the new compressor and the new internal fan, both of which are infinitely variable, finding the ideal temperature is always a guarantee. The compressor is automatically adjusted according to requirements. The improved night mode, which makes the system particularly quiet and provides pleasant cooling, offers greater peace of mind during the night. If it gets too cold, the integrated heating function provides a comfortable temperature. The systems also feature a low starting current. This means that there are no problems in campsites with lower electrical protection.

Operabilityà

Simple operation: the devices can be operated with the greatest of ease via a Bluetooth remote control. It is also possible to control operation via one of the Truma iNet X system panels or the Truma iNet X app. In addition, the 2nd generation Aventa rooftop air conditioning units can also be operated via a new Truma CP Plus control unit.

Design

Timeless design: in both colour variants, they add a striking element to the roof. However, they are characterised by elegance not only on the outside, but also on the inside.

Air distributor (OPTIONAL to be purchased separately)

Space-saving as always: with a height of just 45 mm, the new interior air distributor features the usual space-saving design to keep the vehicle passage height almost unchanged. Both colours “cappuccino” and “stone” are available. In addition to the Aventa air distributor in its basic variant, there is also the Aventa Premium model. In the Premium version, the air distributor is characterised by the integrated dimmable LED, which provides pleasant illumination at all times, as well as air inlets with more adjustment options.
