Door production.

General: This adhesive crosslinks in the presence of moisture to form a solid, permanently elastic film.
The water in the ambient air and in the parts to be glued may already be sufficient for this process.
In normal cases, the water is sprayed. The analysis of the influence of temperature and humidity on the resistance of a fully hardened glue must be performed with respect to the specific application by competent personnel.

Higher humidity and higher temperatures accelerate the crosslinking process and therefore affect the shelf life, open time and polymerization time of the adhesive.

The times indicated in this data sheet are therefore only guidelines, which may vary according to existing conditions.

Special attention:
Carbon dioxide is formed during the crosslinking reaction in variable quantities, depending on the quantity applied, the type of bonding, the temperature and the pressure exerted.

This property is desired for many applications and is a particular advantage of this adhesive. In some individual applications, foaming can however be disadvantageous or prevent the use of this type of adhesive.
The foam that develops in the adhesive joint, when porous materials are joined, normally penetrates into the support completely independent of the working viscosity.

This also applies to EPS foam, provided that the adhesive has a processing viscosity of less than 8000 mPa.s (+ 20 ° C).

Homogeneous penetration is no longer guaranteed for higher viscosities.
Visible swellings are likely to form on the top layer.
The bonding of dense materials, eg. aluminum foil with extruded expanded polystyrene, it can easily generate bubbles as the adhesive cannot expand freely.
A possible solution are ventilation channels obtained by notching them 1 - 2 mm deep in the rigid foam.

Application instructions:
This sticker is applied on one side.
The following methods are suitable for its application: - hand rollers or notched trowel - nozzle or rotary application - spray (ventilation is required)
Adding moisture: To accelerate hardening and obtain independence from the various degrees of humidity available, finely dispersed water must be sprayed with a suitable vaporizer.

The water must be sprayed on the applied adhesive.
In some cases it is also possible to spray the opposite side. Usually a quantity of water equal to 5 - 10% of the applied adhesive is sufficient.
