Where does my satellite antenna work?

The satellite signal is transmitted by a geostationary satellite placed at 13 degrees East. The coverage is very wide starting from central Europe. The signal degrades moving away from central Europe. The larger the antenna in diameter, the more the signal can be received at the edges of the "footprint".
Obviously it is not possible to install a very large antenna on the camper, and the standard has now settled at about 80 cm in diameter.
As can be seen in the map below, with an 80 cm antenna it is possible to receive the HotBird signal (which transmits SKY and TIVUSAT) practically throughout Europe, northern Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia. In the north part of Norway, Sweden and Finland, in the east part of Turkey and part of Russia:

The now super-tested mechanics of the M7 T-Sat was inherited from the "older sister" M5GPS, whose stability even in the presence of intense winds is certainly a strong point.
Very little or almost no play, closed height of only 17 cm, bronze moving parts and aluminum chassis are among the characteristics that distinguish it positively.
The simplicity of assembly is disarming, the instructions supplied very exhaustive and full of images and examples.
If that were not enough, we are always ready for any kind of further clarification and help.
The after-sales assistance service remains the most envied in the sector, and with times on average more than rapid.

But then what's new?
The M7 T-Sat has a list of preset satellites on the 3" graphic menu which allows it to recognize them "by name".

It will therefore be sufficient to select the desired satellite on the control console and the antenna will go to look for it by itself, even without having actually connected any decoder.
The presence of the GPS integrated in the electronics further speeds up the search.
It is also compatible with most satellite receivers on the market and can be set up to connect up to 3 decoders (the extra cable for additional decoders is optional and can be requested when ordering).

As with the previous versions, the proposed price is more than competitive among metal antennas.
The decidedly negligible weight remains a further strong point of the product.
Powered by 12 Volts, it has one of the lowest consumptions in its category, only 0.2 Watts in standby and 6 watts of maximum consumption.

The antenna is equipped with a new recessed control console with 3" graphic LCD. If desired, a plastic housing can be supplied as an option to mount the console on the wall without drilling the furniture.
