Description

This antenna is motorized, therefore it moves through motors and servomechanisms, and to find the satellite it is controlled via the internal panel with which it is possible to move the antenna. Pointing is very simple: (much easier to do than explain)

- Turn on the antenna and the decoder and/or TV
- Set the LIFT degree using the panel following the table included in the manual (example, Rome 41.5, Milan 37.5)
- Always rotate the antenna from the panel, checking the signal level on the panel.
- When you have found the satellite, stop. At this point it is also possible to switch off the antenna.

We remind you that there are satellites positioned every 3/4 degrees of rotation, therefore if the first is crossed the TV does not work
insist and move on to the next one.
Normally the satellites with the highest signal are ASTRA 19° and HOTBIRD 13°, therefore if you find ASTRA 19° first it is
necessary to rotate the antenna by decreasing the rotation by about 6/8 degrees to find HOTBIRD 13° (19°-13°=6).
The signal will be optimal when you have brought the SAT level to the highest peak you will find by centering both vertically and
in Horizon.
The antenna will also slow down autonomously for each crossed satellite allowing you an optimal centering.

Where does my satellite antenna work?

The satellite signal is transmitted by a geostationary satellite placed at 13 degrees East. The coverage is very wide starting from central Europe. The signal degrades moving away from central Europe. The larger the antenna in diameter, the more the signal can be received at the edges of the "footprint".
Obviously it is not possible to install a very large antenna on the camper, and the standard has now settled at about 80 cm in diameter.
As can be seen in the map below, with an 80 cm antenna it is possible to receive the HotBird signal (which transmits SKY and TIVUSAT) practically throughout Europe, northern Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia. In the north part of Norway, Sweden and Finland, in the east part of Turkey and part of Russia:

The super-tested mechanics, inherited from the M5GPS and M7-T.Sat series, definitely improves stability in the presence of intense winds.
Very little or almost no play, closed height of only 17 cm, bronze moving parts and aluminum chassis are among the characteristics that distinguish it positively.

But then what's new?
The Easy V4 has a 3" graphic display which allows it to be managed even more optimally than the previous wired push-button panel.
The satbeeper, which was previously supplied as an accessory, is now integrated into the electronics itself.
It is also compatible with the majority of satellite receivers on the market and can be set up to connect up to 2 decoders (when ordering, add kit art. ST00DUAL).

As with the previous versions, the proposed price is more than competitive among metal antennas.
The decidedly negligible weight remains a further strong point of the product.
Powered by 12 Volts, it has one of the lowest consumptions in its category, only 0.2 Watts in standby and 6 watts of maximum consumption.

The antenna is equipped with a new built-in control console with 3" graphic LCD. If desired, it can be supplied as an optional a plastic housing to mount the console on the wall without drilling the furniture.

Graphic display of the SAT signal in real time
Self-diagnosis for the resolution of any problems

Quick positioning, just tell the antenna where to move (in degrees of elevation and rotation with respect to the position of the camper) and press the start movement button.
The EASY V4 performs the automatic emergency closure when starting the vehicle if connected to a D+ key. (It is advisable to close it with the dedicated key, reserving this function for actual oversights)

Comes with all wiring required for installation. Extremely simple assembly, no technician required.
