3LINK Black Box and Display.

3LINK is´ an advanced control unit required for the optimisation of the NDS lithium system on recreational vehicles.

It is not compatible with batteries of other brands or technologies (lead, AGM, gel or third-party lithium), as the 3LINK control unit manages the charge by communicating directly with the BMS (Battery Management System) of the NDS batteries

leaving the original system untouched, and connecting the 3LINK: 3LION battery, engine battery and all on-board consumers (control unit, charger, inverter, etc.), it will be possible to optimally recharge the lithium battery with high currents while driving, without damaging the original electrical system.

Finally, the display is able to provide information about the operation of the system such as the charge status of 3LION, the on-board battery voltages and charge or discharge current.

3LINK directly manages recharging from the engine battery, which connected with cables of suitable cross-section, via the blackbox can count on super-fast charging, up to 75A per hour of travel (depending on the alternator installed).

This control unit represents an additional protection system for the precious lithium battery, constantly monitoring charge, discharge and SOC currents, and when possible (with a fully charged lithium battery and charge source connected) will also charge the motor battery.

ATTENTION! BEFORE PURCHASE AND ASSEMBLY, CHECK THAT THE ALTERNATOR IS CAPABLE OF DELIVERING AT LEAST 150A.
if this is not the case, a DC-DC of suitable capacity for the alternator power must be added.
