SMARTCHARGERS are a line of advanced microprocessor-equipped battery chargers to meet everyday needs for applications such as marine, motorbikes, cars, etc.
Depending on the model, it carries out up to 9 charging steps; the various stages include diagnosis, which checks whether the battery is in a condition to accept and maintain the charge, desulphation, which helps to keep the plates clean of sulphate, thus prolonging battery life, and the latest-generation maintenance stage, which keeps the battery at 95-100% capacity, delivering current when the battery starts to run down, so as not to stress it during long charging periods (e.g. maintaining motorbike batteries during the winter).
