The NE325 DC/DC converter is designed to recharge the auxiliary battery through the alternator.
The alternators of Euro 6 engines often provide a charging voltage that is too low and is therefore a DC/DC converter is needed to charge the auxiliary battery with the vehicle in motion.

POWER SUPPLY MODE:
The NE325 works as a power supply if no output battery is connected when the vehicle is switched on. In this mode, the green LED (MODE LED INDICATORS) flashes and the output voltage is fixed at 13.8V.
BATTERY CHARGER MODE:
The NE325 works as a battery charger if it detects an output battery when switched on (if the lithium battery algorithm has been selected, the DC/DC works as a battery charger even if it does not detect a battery when switched on).
