They are also designed to operate in all weather conditions from -40 degrees Celsius (Antarctic regions) to +65 degrees Celsius (desert regions), proving they are a versatile choice.
Our range of composite LPG cylinders is certified to ADR/RID requirements and the Transportable Pressure Equipment Directive (TPED). All cylinders are marked with π 0035 -40C. This means that our products can be filled, transported and used in all EC countries and other countries that have adopted ADR/RID. The original approval was based on German/ADR requirements, granted in February 2000.
TÜV München, accredited by ZLS as the inspection body issuing approvals in Germany for this type of equipment, carried out all the approval work. They also acted as our Notified Body, the third party inspector approving the production line and products.
Today the approval is maintained by TÜV Rheinland.
The design, approval tests and production tests are based on the requirements of EN 12245 "Transportable gas cylinders - Fully enveloped composite cylinders" and EN 14427 "Transportable reusable gas cylinders for LPG - Design and construction". Both standards are included in ADR/RID (TPED) and are equally valid. Our products are approved for both standards and a certificate of approval according to both standards is available. The requirements for inspection at filling or periodic inspection and testing are prescribed in ADR/RID with reference to available European or international standards.
