HOW TO FIT OR REPLACE A PORTHOLE?
as with many other parts, this work should be carried out by professionals in order to avoid any risk of water seepage, but if you want to try it yourself, here are some simple guidelines:

MATERIALS NEEDED:
TEROSTAT" butyl tape sealant with a minimum width of 25 mm to be used to adhere and seal the oblò on the roof.
polyurethane sealant type SIKAFLEX 521UV for sealing the edge and screws.
screws suitable for the roof material, not normally supplied in Fiamma products:
fibreglass roof, steel screws,
aluminium roof, galvanised screws

remove the old porthole, taking care not to damage the part of the roof where the porthole is to be glued back on.
clean the surface thoroughly, removing any residue or depressions.
do not use solvents or detergents except denatured alcohol, then dry completely.

- Apply the terostat tape to the roof around the perimeter of the hole (check beforehand by placing the oblò that the tape will adhere to the outer edge of the oblò) leaving no open space and avoiding overlapping of the tape, as this could allow water to enter;
- Gently lay the oblò centring it;
- Tighten the screws, taking care to cross-tighten them so that the edge is evenly bonded to the roof;
- Remove any excess Terostat on the edge with a plastic squeegee (the cutter may do damage if you are not experienced)
- Apply Sikaflex on the edge between the roof and the oblò and on the screws, covering them completely.
- Leave to dry for 24 hours.
