Advanced Technical Features of the Universal Porthole TF 40

The Universal Porthole TF 40 is a high quality product designed to meet ventilation and natural lighting needs in campers, vans and horse carriers. Equipped with a double anti-condensation dome made of UV-resistant material, this porthole offers continuous ventilation of 150 cm2 thanks to its crank opening. Its dimensions of 400x400 mm make it suitable for a wide range of vehicles, while the overall external height of only approximately 7 cm makes it discreet and well integrated into the roof design.

Simple and Safe Installation to Guarantee Maximum Waterproof

Although installation by professionals is recommended to avoid the risk of water infiltration, it is possible to proceed independently with some simple instructions. The only materials needed are a "TEROSTAT" butyl tape sealant of at least 25 mm width, a polyurethane sealant such as SIKAFLEX 521UV and screws suitable for the roof material (steel for fibreglass, galvanized for aluminium). After removing the old porthole and carefully cleaning the surface, simply apply the terostat tape, gently position the porthole, tighten the screws crosswise and seal the edge with Sikaflex. Leave to dry for 24 hours to obtain a perfect hold.
