Truma roof-mounted air conditioning systems from the Aventa series are among the most popular air conditioning systems among camper and van enthusiasts. After all, they always prove the perfect temperature inside the vehicle and have proven themselves to be flexible, economical and efficient in everyday travel since their launch on the market. Now the 2nd generation of Aventa models has arrived, true masterpieces of cool in every sense, available from specialist dealers from spring 2025.

What's new of the 2nd generation Aventa product range at a glance

The new roof-mounted air conditioning systems ensure a pleasant temperature inside the vehicle and are particularly quiet in operation. An outstanding feature is the low overall weight of the systems, achieved by installing cutting-edge technologies. In this way, it was possible to reduce the weight by up to 18 percent compared to the previous model. In addition, the continuously variable compressor provides outstanding cooling performance and, in combination with the new night mode, ensures quiet nights. The air distributors, designed for ease of use, also serve as a design element of the vehicle.

Cooling power

Exceptional cooling power: available in the power levels 1700 W (2nd generation Aventa compact), 2200 W (2nd generation Aventa compact plus) and 2500 W (2nd generation Aventa comfort), they can both cool and heat thanks to an integrated heat pump.

Weight

Exceptionally low weight: the systems weigh 23.2/24.2/28.7 kilograms, including the optional internal air distributor. Compared to the previous generation, which was already the most lightest of its kind, the weight has been reduced by up to 5 kg. Despite the substantial reduction in weight, the effectiveness of the cooling performance has remained unchanged.

Technology

Innovative technology: thanks to the new compressor and the new internal fan, both continuously variable, finding the ideal temperature is always a guarantee. The compressor is automatically adjusted according to needs. The improved night mode, which makes the system particularly quiet and ensures pleasant cooling, offers more peace during the night. If it is too cold, the integrated heating function provides a comfortable temperature. The systems are also characterized by a low starting current. This means that there are no problems on campsites with lower electrical protection.

Operability

Easy operation: The devices can be controlled easily using a Bluetooth remote control. You can also control the operation using one of the Truma iNet X system panels or the Truma iNet X app. In addition, the 2nd generation Aventa roof-mounted air conditioners can also be operated using a new Truma CP Plus control unit.

Design

Timeless design: In both colour variants, they add a visual highlight to the roof. However, they are not only distinguished by their elegance on the outside, but also on the inside.

Air distributor (OPTIONAL to be purchased separately)

Small footprint, as usual: with a height of only 45 mm, the new internal air distributor has the usual space-saving design to keep the vehicle passage height almost unchanged. Both colours are available “cappuccino” and “stone”. In addition to the basic version of the Aventa air distributor, there is also the Aventa Premium model. In the Premium version, the air distributor is characterised by the integrated dimmable LED that offers always pleasant lighting, as well as air vents with a greater number of adjustment options.
