The Trio-gas Alarm Detector Triogas MCR is an electronic device designed specifically to detect the presence of dangerous gases in confined environments, such as 12V recreational vehicles. Thanks to its advanced technology, this gas sensor is able to promptly detect the presence of LPG, carbon monoxide and soporific gases, activating a powerful visual and audible alarm to promptly warn occupants and allow them to take the necessary precautions.

Intelligent Features for Maximum Security

The heart of the system is made up of a Motorola microprocessor and a sensor with high sensitivity and response speed. This sophisticated monitoring and self-diagnosis system guarantees reliable and precise operation, with an automatic calibration phase at power on. Furthermore, the Trio-gas is equipped with an open-collector output that can be used to activate gas shut-off valves, fans or other safety devices in the event of an emergency.

Strategic Positioning for Maximum Protection

The installation position of the Trio-gas determines its sensitivity towards different types of gas. For accurate detection of all three monitored gases, it is recommended to place the device at a height between 50 cm and 1 meter from the floor. For greater sensitivity towards LPG (heavier than air), it is recommended to install it no further than 30-40 cm from the floor, while for greater sensitivity towards carbon oxides (lighter than air), the ideal positioning it is between 1.30 and 1.50 meters tall.
