WARRANTY SUBJECT TO PROPER USE.

Slow-discharge AGM batteries (any brand and capacity) must be charged and discharged according to the conditions of use for this type of product.

In particular, they CANNOT BE CHARGED WITH CAR BATTERY CHARGERS and ARE NOT TO BE USED WITH INVERTERS because they are SLOW-DISCHARGE BATTERIES.

The inrush current CANNOT BE MEASURED (because the battery has a SLOW DISCHARGE and therefore does not have a high inrush current, and measurement with certain devices may deteriorate it).

As a matter of fact, there is no apparatus for measuring the charge in a slow-discharge battery and using one dedicated to starter batteries can cause damage to the battery if used continuously. The only empirical method that can be used is to connect a fixed load (e.g. 50W incandescent bulb), connect a tester set in volts, and measure the time the bulb stays on until it reaches 10.8V, taking care not to leave it on longer than this to avoid damage to the battery, because the charging voltage in these products should never fall below 10.6 Volts;

It must ABSOLUTELY not be used to start an engine, and rapid and deep discharges must be avoided.

CHARGING can be carried out using a BATTERY CHARGER WITH A CHARGING CURVE FOR AGM BATTERIES, using a PHOTOVOLTAIC REGULATOR ALSO CALIBRATED FOR AGM BATTERIES, or using the vehicle alternator. In any case, it will not be possible to reach 100% charge with this last source of charging because the alternator cannot supply the correct voltage unless a POWER SERVICE for AGM BATTERIES is installed.

If the charger or PV regulator does not have the calibration for AGM batteries, the selection for FREE ACID BATTERIES may be chosen, but NEVER FOR GEL.

with a charger that is not suitable for AGMs, 100% charging will not be achieved anyway.

DRY PARALLELING WITH BATTERIES OF A DIFFERENT TYPE AND SIZE MUST ABSOLUTELY BE AVOIDED because of the leakage currents that would continuously run through the batteries from the most to the least charged.

In all these cases, the battery deteriorates because PHOSPHATISATION takes place and in the event of an inspection, improper use will be evident, voiding the warranty.

Therefore we recommend the use of this type of battery with full knowledge of the facts.

ALL ACCUMULATORS SHOULD BE FULLY CHARGED BEFORE USE BY CONNECTING THEM TO THE CAMPER'S SYSTEM OR TO AN APPROPRIATE BATTERY CHARGER.
