3LION is the innovative range of batteries NDS built with reliable Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) technology which, combined with the BMS inside the battery and the 3Link system ( control unit) guarantees the best performance in terms of services. 3LION is not the classic lithium battery, but an advanced energy system equipped with its own multi-function BMS, with unique characteristics, which allow truly innovative use and benefits. 3LION communicates exclusively with 3Link, which becomes the heart of the energy system. All the positives of the vehicle system, engine battery, 3LION battery and all utilities, in order not to strain the electrical system, are connected to the 3Link which acts as a control unit.
The 3LION System is a complete kit which, thanks to the 3Link and control display, allows better management of the charge during travel, obtaining maximum current from the alternator, up to 75A (based on the alternator) and reducing recharging times, allowing greater autonomy during stops. Once the engine is switched off, the 3LION services battery will be able, through the Control unit (3Link) to supply electricity for all on-board utilities, lights, heating, coffee machines, etc… The LiFePO4 technology used for the 3LION, unlike traditional Li-Ion or LiPO, is extremely safe and reliable over time thanks to its particular characteristics. The Control unit (3Link) communicates with a touch screen display (optional) which displays all the available information on the status of the battery, the charging systems and on-board consumption.
