The BC122 switching battery charger is designed to offer high efficiency in the charging of lead-acid batteries, gel, lithium and AGM. This battery charger, without a cooling fan, is capable of handling batteries with a nominal voltage of 12V. It is essential to check the compatibility of the maximum charging current with the technical specifications of the battery used. Furthermore, the BC122 can also be used as a power supply. When it is connected to the mains and a battery is present, the charger starts working automatically, ensuring safe and rapid charging.
Thanks to the innovative selection system via dip switch, the BC122 allows you to choose the charging algorithm most suited to the type of battery connected. A green LED lights up when turned on, indicating which algorithm has been selected. This charger uses a combination of Constant Current and Constant Voltage charging, significantly reducing charging times and preventing damage to the batteries, even if they remain permanently connected to the 230V mains. In the event of a load, the BC122 immediately supplies the necessary current, keeping the battery charged and operational.
