With the introduction of the new version in August 2024, Arsilicii has separated the functions of the battery chargers, making this distributor an essential component for the correct functioning of the utilities and batteries of your vehicle. Make sure you choose the "D+" version to ensure compatibility with your system.

These battery chargers in fact exist in two versions: "D+" and "D-", below we explain it better.

All ARSILICII products are sold without any box or instructions: they are spare components intended to be installed by operators in the sector.

It also replaces the old AL110S charger now out of production, always verifying the "D+" or "D-" version.

ATTENTION!
If this product is used to replace an old battery charger, it is also necessary to replace the 12V connectors present on the vehicle by purchasing the KAIMANO cable kit present in its accessories, to be purchased separately.
The 220V connector is also not present and if necessary, it must be purchased separately by assembling it (purchase a plastic connector and three male fastons)
(this is because the old battery chargers had the 230V cable integrated , now the new battery chargers have a Molex connector)

SUPPLIED WITHOUT ANY CABLE OR ACCESSORY, ONLY THE BATTERY CHARGER.

The AL120NB model has two variants: D+ and D-
one is often mounted on FORD and FIAT mechanics and is recognizable by a gray label near the red connector of the engine battery with the words “D-GND” written, which indicates the negative command from the alternator, while the other version is often mounted on RENAULT mechanics and is recognizable because on the silkscreen relating to the red connector it says “MOTOR D+”.

On vehicles produced before 2007, the indication of the brand RENAULT or FORD may not be correct, the important thing is to check the D+ or D- version which is the only correct indication to correctly identify the spare part.

The D- version contains a label indicating the different version:

IF YOU INSTALL THE WRONG VERSION OF THE POWER SUPPLY, YOU COULD DAMAGE BOTH THE SYSTEM AND THE CHARGER!

On this type of power supply, I am withconnected, in addition to the batteries and the 12V fridge control, the outputs for the camper utilities (toilet drain, stove fan, etc), the output for the pump and those for the fresh and grey water tanks.

The wiring on the camper must already be prepared for this type of power supply / battery charger.

During the 220v charger, they only power and charge service batteries.

The AL120 NB D+ model is equipped with an intelligent management card that not only sections and protects the output lines, but also measures currents, voltages, ampere/hours and temperature, sharing all this information with the other elements of the AS-D2NA (R-CAN) system via communication bus.
