Description
The purpose of this product is to protect the crew sleeping inside the vehicles traveling for work or leisure from leaks of harmful gases (LPG or carbon monoxide) or from robberies carried out with soporific gases.
p>CAN BE ABLE TO:
• Detect the presence of gases in the environment before their effect has compromised the faculty of reaction
• Wake up from sleep with a loud acoustic signal
• Activate any auxiliary devices to block the gas flow (solenoid valves) or evacuation fans.
It is very sensitive to all types of harmful gases including hetero-derivatives with narcotic effect , thanks to a particular universal sensor.
INDISPENSABLE NOTES FOR CORRECT OPERATION:
• Use in air free from particularly polluting substances
• Install the device at an intermediate height
• Regularly test the functioning of the sensor
USE OF THE DEVICE:
To activate the device, it is necessary to turn it on by pressing lightly with the hand on the upper part of the device, Immediately after switching on the device will do a self-test and if everything works correctly there will be a short flash of the signal LEDs together with a short acoustic signal; from this moment the device enters the "self-calibration" phase, signaled by the flashing of the green "ready" LED which will last about 3-4 minutes during which a sophisticated microprocessor circuit will adjust the optimal sensitivity according to the environmental conditions. At the end of the self-calibration, the green "ready" LED will light up steadily and the device will be ready to detect the gas.
IN THE EVENT OF ALARM:
If the device detects the presence of gas in the environment there will be a first pre-alarm phase lasting 40 seconds with a buzzer and an intermittent red "alarm" LED. After this time, if there is still gas in the environment, the alarm phase will go on with continuous buzzer sound and the red "alarm" LED on steady, if instead, during the pre-alarm phase, the gas will no longer be present in the environment the buzzer will stop sounding and the device will be ready to detect gas again.
VERIFICATION OF OPERATION:
1. Turn on the device and wait for the auto calibration is completed and that the green LED is on steady.
2. Bring a common lighter close to and hold near the side slots of the device without lighting the FIAMMA to let the gas escape.
In case of correct operation after a few seconds the device will enter the pre-alarm phase, continuing to let gas out after the pre-alarm time will trigger an alarm.
