There have long been fears of trailer structure wobbles on uneven paths .

Conventional standard shock absorbers have hardly been able to improve driving safety. Being designed for too large a weight range (e.g. 0 to 4t), optimum damping was only achieved on medium weight trailers (2t). In the lower weight range, however, it dampened too much.

The effect: The trailer bounces and stumbles. In the higher weight range, on the other hand, the damping is not enough. The octagonal AL-KO damper, on the other hand, improves the driving properties of the trailer and dampens optimally through precise adaptation.
